JERRY
BURTON
Jerry Burton was the founding editor and editorial director of
Corvette Quarterly magazine and four other publications. He holds a
journalism degree as well as a Master of Arts in telecommunications
and film, and has been a practicing journalist for over 20 years,
including working as motorsports editor for AutoWeek magazine and
managing editor of Racecar magazine.
Jerry has been long associated with Chevrolet and Corvette. He is
the author of the award-winning “Heartbeat of America” slogan for
Chevrolet, and is a founding member of the board of directors of the
National Corvette Museum with full access to museum archives.
A trusted personal friend of Zora Arkus-Duntov, Burton wrote the
exclusive authorized biography, Zora Arkus-Duntov: The Legend
Behind Corvette. He is also the author of Corvette: America’s Sports
Car - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.
